After party? Of course!! The party starts right after the game at the Fox Bar right outside the ExCel entrance. Tunes will be spinning, game footage will be on the screens, and many drinks will be had! And hey, you can party all night if you want, as there is a night bus from ExCel that goes straight to central London.

Once again, the atmosphere at Tottenham was electric and the crowd was treated to a cracking game of derby. The sold out - and then some - audience never had a dull moment as the Suffra Jets and Ultraviolent Femmes battled their way through the entire 60 minutes of derby to the bitter end.

The Suffra Jets - looking futuristic fly in their snazzy new boutfits - took the lead early on, but the Ultraviolents kept within striking distance for the whole time. Towards the end of the second half, the UFs came close to taking over the lead and making history as the first LRG team to come back from behind to win a game at Tottenham, but the SJs kept up the pressure and the game ended with a 10 point difference in favour of the winners.

Final score: Suffra Jets 83 — Ultraviolent Femmes 73

Next up the Suffra Jets take on the Steam Rollers in the first closed door bout of the season.

It’s 8am on Sunday morning. Around 50 sleepy London Rollergirls, refs, support crew, friends and family are an hour into a coach journey to Telford. Most of them have been up since 5 or 6am. Bad film classic “Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus” is showing - loudly - on the bus TV, and Raw Heidi is not a happy rollergirl.

On Saturday 6 February The London Rollergirls present their second league bout of the season – Ultraviolent Femmes vs Suffra Jets. The Ultraviolents will be out to get their first win of the season, while the Suffra Jets fight to defend their championship. The Ultraviolent Femmes were defeated at the hands of the Steam Rollers in the last bout, so they’ll be hungry for a victory against last season’s league championship winners the Suffra Jets.

It will be a great day out, with a charity raffle in aid of The Wisdom Hospice, the finest rollergirl cupcakes this side of the Atlantic for sale, London Rollergirls DJs, an exclusive Tatty Devine jewellery stall, merchandise on sale and the Bulldogs n’ Bruises after party at The Den & Centro off Oxford Street, sponsored by Bulldog Gin - including fabulous discounts on themed LRG Bulldog Gin cocktails.

With some of the best roller derby players in Europe playing, this bout promises to bring in the new year with a bang! Get your tickets early and make sure you don’t miss out.

The Steam Rollers have taken an early lead in the race for the title this season, making a statement of intent with a convincing win over the Ultraviolent Femmes. The Ultraviolents must now pick themselves up, regroup and prepare to face the defending champion Suffra Jets on February 6th.

Tickets for Winter Wonderslam on December 5th are now on sale! Tickets will be £10 advance plus 55p PayPal fee, as usual, or £12 on the door. But before you buy yours, read on… this season we are launching our EXCLUSIVE season ticket for our wonderful fans!

WHAT IS IT?
This season we have a PACKED schedule, we have 6 intra-league games plus our spectacular championship final bout! We will be playing 3 public and 3 closed door intra-league bouts this season, plus the season championship. Closed door bouts are not open to the general public, but if you are a season ticket holder, you will have EXCLUSIVE access to these intra-league bouts. You will also get to party with the London Rollergirls after EVERY bout! You will be invited to special secret invitation only LRG events and you will be able to buy advanced tickets for inter-league bouts, such as when the Texas Rollergirls’ Hustlers team come to play us in March 2010.

HOW MUCH DOES THIS COST?
Well, let me start by saying that our normal ticket price for a bout is £10 (or £12 on the door) so it can cost up to £84 to come and see us for 7 intra-league games, however for a one off cost of £50 (plus £3 PayPal fee) this season pass is YOURS. This is an ideal Christmas present for ANY roller derby fan out there (or if you fancy treating yourself!). Not to mention that the pass gets you access to three games you wouldn’t be able to see otherwise!

HOW DO I GET IT?
OK, OK, calm down, firstly I need to tell you that because this is an EXCLUSIVE we are limited to only 100 tickets this season! You can get your season ticket at our next bout, Winter Wonderslam on Dec 5th. Once you have paid for your season ticket you will be sent a lovely laminated ticket with your name on it and your name will be added to the VIF (very important fan) list at every bout.

If you love roller derby, if you love watching the London Rollergirls, if you want more roller derby in your life, if you want to come to more events and get to know us all that bit better, this is the PERFECT option for you!
