Sponsor the London Rollergirls
Why sponsor us?
We offer you the chance to associate your company with a unique full contact sport, run by women for women and with a large and diverse audience.
Roller Derby is growing fast in Europe, in fact we hosted (and won) the first ever European Roller Derby Tournament – Roll Britannia - in July 2009 at Earls Court, and in March 2010 we played the Texas Rollergirls Hustlers and hosted a bootcamp for European skaters at London's Excel Centre. We're even having an impact in the US. April 2010 saw our All-star team, London Brawling, heading to the US to compete in Philadelphia, Connecticut and Rhode Island - and train with our WFTDA mentors the mighty Gotham Girls in New York City. Our performance against Texas and in the US enabled us to be ranked in the top 20 leagues Worldwide according to Derby News Network.
We get some fantastic PR and media exposure. We anticipated the increase following the release of Drew Barrymore’s film Whip It and we maximised our exposure by working with the film's publishers to promote the sport and the film.
Sponsorship of the London Rollergirls gives you the opportunity to support the development of the sport in the UK and the reap the rewards from an association with Europe’s premier Roller Derby league.
“We love sponsoring the London Rollergirls. The girls all rock the jewellery we created for them, and we've seen some brilliant roller derby action from our position of safety - behind the Tatty Devine stall at the bouts! It's a great sport that fits our ethos perfectly." -- Tatty Devine
